They usually do not receive employment contracts and have limited access to grievance mechanisms. For manufacturers, contract labour offers flexibility, but often also leads to compliance issues and risks of reputational damage.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW10368195 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<br \/><span class=\"TextRun SCXW172032095 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW172032095 BCX8\"><br \/>International buyers should be aware of the risks of contract labour and take steps to address these risks.
